Port Stephens is blessed with many interesting landscapes, through which pass a number of excellent walking tracks.
Enjoy the superb views from the tops of Gan Gan Hill, Tomaree Peak, Stephens Peak and Yacaaba. There are walks around the estuary of Port Stephens, freshwater and tidal swamps, cliff tops, forests, heathlands and beaches.

Total Population: 63,579 people as at June 2005.
34% of residents are aged under 24 years, and 32% are aged over 50 years.
There are 17,142 seperate houses which account for 66% of the total local housing stock.
Tomaree Peninsula
Our Service area is known as the Tomaree Peninsula and includes the suburbs of Anna Bay, Boat Harbour, Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Salamander Bay, Corlette, Soldiers Point, One Mile Beach and Fishermans Bay.
Inside this area there are approximately 12,000 households and 28,000 residents. It is estimated that 30-40% of these properties are used for temporary/holiday accomodation.
